Historic Preservation & Architectural Research
As an architectural historian and preservationist, Kate completes architectural research, writing, New York City Landmarks consulting, and building histories for a range of clients including the federal government, real estate companies, and non-profit organizations. Projects include Historic Structures Reports (HSRs) for industrial sites, Historic American Building Survey (HABS) reports for midcentury shopping centers, and background research for luxury retail, residential, and cultural buildings.
